Complete bathroom fitting, A to Z
This is the job the business is named after. The old suite comes out and goes away, the pipework is reworked, walls are boarded, wet areas are tanked, the room is tiled and grouted, and the new suite, screen and brassware go in and get tested. Family bathrooms, en-suites, shower rooms and open wetrooms all follow the same route — the difference is in the waterproofing and the floor falls, not in how much of it we hand to somebody else. Nothing about the room gets subcontracted out, which is why the finish across the walls, the floor and the fittings actually matches.

Wall tiling, any size of tile
Tiling is the half of the business the other name is for. Small tiles, big tiles, and everything in between — stack bond and vertical stack, brick and half-brick, diagonal, straight and herringbone, chevron, or something deliberately more awkward if that's what you're after. Large formats need a flatter wall, fuller adhesive coverage and a levelling system to keep edges from standing proud of one another; small formats need patience and a properly balanced set-out. Both start the same way: the wall gets read and set out dry before anything is fixed to it.

Floor tiling & underfloor heating
Tiled floors aren't only a bathroom thing. Kitchens, hallways and living rooms take tile well, and with electric underfloor heating under them they stop being the cold part of the house. The heating goes down on a prepared, level base, gets meter-tested before it's covered and again after, and is set into levelling compound so the tiles bed onto a flat surface rather than straight onto cable. Victorian geometric patterns, plank tiles laid like a wooden floor, or plain large-format — the floor build-up and the movement joints get thought about before the pattern does.

Bathroom plumbing & pipework
Once the room is stripped, the second step is always the plumbing. Feeds and wastes get reworked — most often taken out of the floor and run in the wall — so the radiator, WC, basin and shower sit where the new layout wants them rather than where the old one left them. Everything that will end up behind a tile is pressure-checked while it's still reachable, because the cheapest time to find a weeping joint is before it's under 12mm of porcelain. Gas and notifiable electrical work is brought in from the appropriate registered trade.

Repairs & putting things right
Not everything needs a new bathroom. A shower mixer that has stopped working gets exchanged. A cracked tile gets cut out and replaced without disturbing the four around it. A shower mixer that has been quietly dripping and has damaged the tray gets traced, fixed and made good. And a floor where the underfloor heating was laid the wrong way gets taken up and done properly. Plenty of the work here starts as somebody else's job that didn't go to plan — it is often the quickest way to find out how a tradesman actually works.

Fireplace & chimney tiling
A chimney breast is the one wall in a living room that can carry a tile you'd never put across a whole space: a book-matched slab porcelain, a deep herringbone, a textured stone. It is also the least forgiving wall in the house to set out, because it is narrow, it has returns on both sides, and everyone sitting in the room stares straight at it. The cuts down each return have to balance, the horizontal courses have to line through across the face, and the hearth has to relate to the wall above it. The same person, start to finish
Strip-out, first-fix plumbing, boarding, tanking, tiling, second fix, silicone. One trade doing all of it means nothing gets lost in the handover between a plumber, a tiler and an electrician who have never met.
Set out before a single tile is fixed
Every wall and floor is set out dry first — centre lines found, cuts balanced, bond chosen — so you never end up with a five-millimetre slither of tile in the most visible corner of the room. It is the step that separates a tiled room from a well-tiled room.
A quote after a look, not over the phone
Pipe runs, floor build-up, what is actually behind the plasterboard — none of that is visible from a photo. We come and look, then price the job properly, so the number you get at the start is the number you pay at the end.
